Permits are issued to 38th Ward Residents. Garage sales are limited to 3 consecutive days between 9:00am and sunset. Permits are free and must be displayed during the sale period. Each household is entitled to 2 permits per year.

The Private Drain Program was introduced to alleviate homeowners' financial burden for sewer repairs in the public way.

After reaching capacity in 2011, the Shared Cost Sidewalk Program is closed for the year. Please watch this space for the announcement of the opening of the 2012 program.

Residential parking permit stickers and visitor passes are available for purchase at the City Clerk's City Hall Office or at one of the satellite offices.

The Easy Permit Process allows home and building owners to obtain a permit to REPAIR or REPLACE THE SAME or EXISTING elements of a building, without making any changes to the structure of the building.

All condominium associations and townhouses not eligible for city garbage pick-up are entitled to a rebate on their private scavenger service.
